In addition, I am the Founder of Latina Traveler, a platform created to inspire Women of Color to travel solo but safely and with confidence. Hola Reader! The last few days been HOOOT in Lisbon and as someone who doesn't have AC in her apartment, it has been a rough few days. Tomorrow it'll finally cool down a bit and I'm very much looking forward to it. Because of the heat, Bebino and I have been at the beach and even getting in the cold Atlantic water that I usually avoid getting into. * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hola Reader! Now that I've been back in Lisbon I'm enjoying the beach and doing more summer activities. This week I've been working on getting back on track with content. You can check out the Ecuador travel vlog series I just started! Yesterday I went to a flower crown picnic which was such a cute event. Highly recommend doing this with your girlfriends this summer. 🌸 * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. I...

Hola Reader! Whoops, last week got away from me. Traveling around Turkiye with my family and having limited WiFi didn't let help. But the trip was AMAZING! It was so nice to spend quality time with my parents and sister now that I live far away from them and being able to explore somewhere new together is always a fun experience. Some places I loved on this trip: Sunrise hot air balloon ride in Cappadoccia Visiting Ephesus, where Cleopatra once was Dip in the Pamukkale thermal pools I'm back...

Hola Reader! I've been in Turkiye for the last few days with my family and it's been so nice to explore somewhere new together. Living abroad has made me realize how precious it is to spend time with loved ones especially my parents. They look older every time I see them and I really want to treasure every moment I can with them especially since I'm far away. Since I'll be traveling for the next couple weeks, please note that my Monday emails won't be as fully packed with goodies as they...

Hola Reader! This past month I've seen more of Lisbon's gardens thanks to Jardins Abertos. It's over for now, but it's a yearly event so you can check it out next year! Next up in Lisbon are the Santos Populares celebrations which is like 2 weeks of parties throughout the city. Highly recommend going to Alfama for their parties, live music, and great food! * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hola Reader! Jardins Abertos are still in full swing in Lisbon and this past weekend I got to visit a spot that has been on my list for a while and that should be on yours! This is the Palacio Fronteira. It's outside of the tourist circuit but highly worth the ride there. * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hola Reader! Allergy season is starting here and my nose and eyes are not happy about it. Either way I've still been out and about because the weather is finally nice out! With Open House Lisboa, I visited the Jeronimos Monastery and the National Museum of Carriages in Belem. * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hola Reader! It's been nice being back in Lisbon especially now that the weather is getting better. For the month of May, many parks around the city are hosting 'Jardins Abertos' (open gardens) especially ones that are rarely open to the public. Some are open but cost a fee, but for the days they're open for this event they are free. I'm looking to start a separate list to share Lisbon related activities so let me know if you live in the city and/or plan to visit and want the tips. Do you...

Hola Reader! My month long trip around Peru and Ecuador is coming to an end and I'm getting ready to head back to Portugal. This morning I woke up to news that power is currently out in Portugal, Spain, and parts of France and Germany. Apparently it's supposed to last a while so I'm hoping my flight doesn't get interrupted and I'm able to get home safely. * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you. Hola Reader! I'm currently traveling around country 42nd, Ecuador, with my parents! I love that even though I live so far away, I can still enjoy exploring new places with the ones who made me fall in love with travel in the first place. This was supposed to be a solo trip, but glad to be able to spend time together especially since I now live far away. * If you make a purchase through any affiliate links below, I may make a small commission at no additional cost to you.
